At the begining you have to choose between 2 types of charcaters. An adventurer or governor.

The difference is the starting points, I think. And as a governor you have another character to talk about, your city. Also it is permited to abandon the life of a governor and take on the life of an adventurer(doesn't matter if you started off as a governor, people change you know). The road back to govenorship, will be considered by the mod of that section on two concepts: - if it is permited for your particular character, at that particular time; -and if so, how hard will be the path back or the first time(if you are an adventurer character);

Now the second thing you have to think about is race(Empire, Clans, Legion, Horde, Alliance) and class(mage, warrior, ranged, thief).

Once you got that solved think about the description/backstory.

Then his/her party. With description/backstory for them too.

Don't worry, you don't have to have a substantial description, you will constantlly add to your character sheet.

The Holy Empire
Or some would call it the Empire of Man, because the majority of the population is human. There are two powerfull centers that hold power within the human lands. One is the supreme ruler his Kingship, Baron Emry of Abrissel with his wife Queen Ambrielle. and the Holy Church.

The Mountain Clans
In the north of Nevadaar there are dwarves that have organized into clans, that pay homage to an elected king. The clans have more then dwarf members. Giants have befriended the clans and live in peace with them.

The Elven Alliance
The Old Alliance is between the Wild Elves and the Noble Ones. The first keep a strong conection with nature while the latter has taken a more imperial life style with large urban centers and the luxuries of civilized living. Among the elves of the Alliance we can find centaurs.

Legion of the Damned
Mostly demons and the children of the filthy core, where Bethrezen was banished by the Highfather, for a crime that he actually didn't comit. All the demons are the creation of Bethtrezen, supported in Nevadaar by shadowy cults bringing in for sacrifice and worship the many inhabitants of Nevadaar that lured in with the promise of a better life in the worship of Bethrezen.

Hordes of the Undead
Mortis raised her undead army to punish Wotan and the dwarven king. The Horde considers it own all undead creatures from skeletons to vampires and liches.
